Golden Hour invites families to slow down and soak in a Friday evening at the Huntsville Botanical Garden, where live music mingles with the sounds of nature as the sun dips below the horizon. This laid-back summer series transforms the Garden into a community gathering spot where parents can unwind with friends while kids explore the paths, chase fireflies, or settle onto blankets for an impromptu picnic. On September 18, Emma Klein takes the stage in the Cedar Glade, but her melodies will drift through the entire Garden, creating a soundtrack for wherever your family decides to wander. The best part? Admission is completely free starting at 5:00 p.m., thanks to support from the Huntsville Music Office and the City of Huntsville's Office of Multicultural Affairs. The event runs until 7:00 p.m. in September, giving families a comfortable window for dinner and music without keeping little ones out too late. The Garden Bar offers drinks for adults, while Fern & Feast On-The-Go serves made-to-order concessions that beat the usual drive-through routine.
